Jihadism
Jihadism refers to a radical and militant interpretation of Islam that advocates for the use of violence to achieve political or religious goals. It often emphasizes armed struggle (jihad) against those it perceives as enemies of Islam, including governments, Western nations, or non-believers. While many Muslims see jihad as a personal spiritual struggle, jihadism associates it with violent tactics and terrorism. This ideology is rejected by the vast majority of Muslims, who promote peace and coexistence. Jihadism is considered a security threat due to its association with extremist groups that carry out attacks worldwide.
