Elamite Language
Elamite is an ancient language once spoken in the region of Elam, located in what is now southwestern Iran. It was used from around 3000 BCE until the end of the first millennium BCE. The language has its own script, which evolved over time, and it was primarily used in official and legal documents, as well as inscriptions. Elamite is part of the Elamo-Dravidian language family, but its exact relationship to other languages remains uncertain. It offers valuable insights into the history and culture of ancient Elam, which was a significant power in the ancient Near East.
