Belief
Belief is a psychological state where a person holds something to be true. In foundationalism, beliefs are built on basic, self-evident truths or experiences. Testimony involves accepting beliefs based on what others say. Intuition refers to beliefs formed quickly and automatically, often without conscious reasoning. Intentionality is the directedness of beliefs towards certain ideas or objects, meaning beliefs are about something specific. Overall, belief is a key part of how we understand and engage with the world, influenced by our experiences, the information we receive, and our inherent reasoning processes.
