Modal Theory
Modal Theory, in general knowledge, explores the concepts of possibility, necessity, and contingency. It assesses various ways things could be, rather than just how they are. In simple terms, it involves understanding different scenarios: what must happen (necessity), what could happen (possibility), and what won’t happen (impossibility). This theory helps us analyze different situations and choices, allowing us to consider alternative outcomes and the implications of our decisions. By examining these Modalities, we gain deeper insights into reality, potential events, and the nature of truth and belief.
