Babur was a Mughal emperor and the founder of the Mughal Empire in India, born in 1483 in what is now Uzbekistan. A descendant of Timur and Genghis Khan, he established his rule after a series of battles. In 1526, he won the famous Battle of Panipat against Ibrahim Lodi, marking the start of Mughal dominance in India. Babur is known not only for his military skills but also for his appreciation of the arts and culture. His memoirs, the "Baburnama," offer insights into his life, thoughts, and the landscape of India during his time.
