Sultan Ibrahim Lodi

Sultan Ibrahim Lodi was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty in India, reigning from 1517 to 1526. His rule marked the decline of the Delhi Sultanate, a Muslim kingdom in North India. Ibrahim was known for his ambitious nature and attempts to consolidate power, but his leadership faced challenges from regional governors and rival factions. His defeat by Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire, at the First Battle of Panipat in 1526 led to the end of Lodi rule and the rise of Mughal dominance in India, significantly shaping the subcontinent's history.
