Anger is an emotional response to feeling threatened, frustrated, or wronged. It arises when circumstances or stimuli threaten our well-being or goals, prompting a physiological reaction—such as increased heart rate and tension—that prepares us to confront or defend. While it can be a natural, protective emotion, persistent or intense anger can harm relationships and well-being. Managing anger involves recognizing its triggers, understanding underlying feelings, and finding healthy ways to express or release it. It’s a normal part of human experience, but developing awareness and coping skills is key to preventing it from escalating.
