Five Stages of Grief

The Five Stages of Grief, developed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, describe the emotional journey many people experience when facing loss. These stages are: 1. **Denial** - Refusing to accept the reality of the loss. 2. **Anger** - Frustration and resentment about the situation. 3. **Bargaining** - Seeking to change the outcome through negotiation or promises. 4. **Depression** - Deep sadness and withdrawal as the reality sets in. 5. **Acceptance** - Finding a way to move forward and live with the loss. Not everyone experiences all stages, nor in a specific order, as grief is a personal process.
