Non-probability Sampling

Non-probability sampling is a method of selecting participants for a study where not everyone in the population has a chance of being chosen. Instead, researchers select individuals based on specific criteria or convenience. This approach can yield faster results and is often easier to conduct, but it may introduce bias, as it doesn’t provide a representative sample of the entire population. Examples include choosing people who are readily available or selecting those who meet certain characteristics, rather than using random selection techniques.
