Maoism
Maoism is a form of socialism that draws from the ideas of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin, but emphasizes the role of the peasantry in revolution, as opposed to just the urban working class. It advocates for agrarian reform and the establishment of a communist society through a protracted "people's war." Maoism also stresses self-reliance and continuous revolution to combat perceived threats to socialism. It emerged in China under Mao Zedong and has influenced various movements worldwide, focusing on adapting Marxist principles to local conditions and emphasizing grassroots participation and revolutionary struggle.
