Kava Cultivation

Kava cultivation involves growing the kava plant, primarily found in the Pacific Islands. The plant thrives in fertile, well-drained soil and requires a warm, humid climate with plenty of rainfall. Farmers typically propagate kava using stem cuttings from mature plants. After planting, it can take three to five years to mature.
