EUROfusion

EUROfusion is a collaborative research initiative involving several European countries aimed at developing fusion energy as a sustainable and clean power source. Fusion is the process that powers the sun, where hydrogen atoms combine to form helium, releasing vast amounts of energy. EUROfusion focuses on constructing and operating experimental reactors, like the ITER project in France, to demonstrate the viability of fusion for commercial energy production. By harnessing nuclear fusion, EUROfusion hopes to provide a solution to global energy needs while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on fossil fuels.
