Communist International

The Communist International, often known as the Comintern, was an international organization founded in 1919 to promote world communism. Established by the Bolshevik Party in Russia after the 1917 Revolution, its goal was to unite various communist parties and movements across the globe to overthrow capitalism and establish socialist governments. The Comintern sought to support revolutionary activities through coordination, propaganda, and political guidance. However, it faced challenges, and by the late 1930s, its influence waned, ultimately disbanding in 1943 due to changing political dynamics and World War II.
