Third International
The Third International, also known as the Communist International or Comintern, was an organization founded in 1919 to promote worldwide communism. Spearheaded by the Soviet Union, its goal was to unite various communist parties and movements across the globe to establish a global communist revolution. The Third International sought to spread Marxist ideology and support revolutionary activities in other countries. It played a significant role in shaping the dynamics of international politics, particularly during the early to mid-20th century, until it was officially dissolved in 1943 amidst World War II.
