Comintern Secretariat
The Comintern Secretariat was the administrative body of the Communist International, also known as the Comintern, established in 1919. Its main goal was to promote worldwide communism by uniting various communist parties, sharing ideas, and coordinating actions. Based in Moscow, it provided guidance and support to communist movements in different countries. The Secretariat played a crucial role in strategizing how to spread communist ideology globally until the Comintern was dissolved in 1943, primarily due to geopolitical changes during World War II.
