Comintern Congresses
The Comintern, or Communist International, was an organization founded in 1919 to promote worldwide communism. It held several congresses, gatherings where representatives from various communist parties discussed strategies, shared information, and aligned their efforts. These congresses aimed to spread communist ideology and unite global socialist movements, especially during the early 20th century. Notable congresses included the famous Third Congress in 1921, which emphasized the need for revolutionary action. The Comintern ultimately sought to achieve a global uprising of the working class against capitalism, influencing many national movements until its dissolution in 1943.
