Ajzen's theory of planned behavior

Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior explains how our intentions influence our actions. It suggests that our behavior is shaped by three key factors: our attitudes (how we feel about the behavior), subjective norms (how we believe others view the behavior), and perceived behavioral control (our confidence in our ability to perform the behavior). Together, these factors influence our intention to act, which in turn affects whether we actually carry out the behavior. Essentially, it highlights that understanding our mindset and social influences can help predict and encourage certain behaviors.
