Intention-Behavior Gap
The intention-behavior gap refers to the common situation where people's planned actions or goals (intentions) don't always result in the actual behavior they hoped for. For example, someone might intend to eat healthy or exercise regularly but ends up not doing so due to various factors like forgetfulness, lack of motivation, or convenience. This gap highlights how knowing what we want to do doesn't always lead to doing it, emphasizing the difference between our intentions and our real-world actions.
