Orion
Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky, named after a hunter from Greek mythology. It features prominent stars, including Betelgeuse and Rigel, which represent the hunter’s shoulders and feet, respectively. Orion is visible in the evening during winter in the Northern Hemisphere. The constellation also includes the Orion Nebula, a region where new stars are born, and a distinctive "belt" formed by three closely spaced stars. Orion serves as a key reference point for locating other celestial objects and is significant in various cultures worldwide.
