Kingdom of Kush
The Kingdom of Kush was an ancient civilization located in what is now Sudan, south of Egypt. It thrived from around 2500 BCE to 350 CE and is known for its rich culture, impressive pyramids, and strong trade connections. Kushites were skilled in ironworking and agriculture, and they often interacted with their northern neighbor, Egypt, even ruling it during the 25th Dynasty. The kingdom was an important center for trade and culture in ancient Africa, contributing significantly to the region's history and influencing later societies.
