The Pyramids of Kush refer to a group of pyramids located in modern-day Sudan, built by the ancient Kingdom of Kush, which thrived from around 800 BCE to 350 CE. These pyramids served as tombs for Kushite royalty and are known for their distinctive steep angles and smaller size compared to Egypt's pyramids. The most famous site is in Meroë, where over 200 pyramids can be found.
