Kushite Kings

The Kushite Kings ruled the Kingdom of Kush, an ancient civilization located south of ancient Egypt, primarily in what is now Sudan. Flourishing from around 1070 BCE to 350 CE, the Kushites were known for their impressive monumental architecture, including pyramids, and their skilled warriors. They engaged in extensive trade and cultural exchanges with Egypt, at times dominating and influencing it. The Kushite dynasty reached its peak during the 25th Dynasty, when they ruled Egypt as pharaohs, showcasing their power and unity across the Nile Valley. Their legacy includes a rich cultural heritage and significant archaeological sites.
