Human Visual System
The human visual system is the complex network that enables us to see and interpret our surroundings. Light enters the eye through the cornea, passes through the lens, and is focused on the retina at the back of the eye, which contains light-sensitive cells. These cells convert light into electrical signals that travel through the optic nerve to the brain. The brain processes these signals, allowing us to perceive shapes, colors, and movement, ultimately helping us navigate and understand the world around us.
