Pupil

A pupil is the central opening in the colored part of the eye, known as the iris. It appears as a dark circle and functions to control the amount of light that enters the eye. In bright light, the pupil constricts to reduce light intake, while in dim conditions, it dilates to allow more light in, helping us see better. The size of the pupil is adjusted by muscles in the iris and is an important part of our visual system, contributing to the clarity and focus of our sight.
