Pupil Referral Unit

A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) is a specialized school that provides education and support for students who are unable to attend mainstream schools due to behavioral, emotional, or complex needs. PRUs aim to help students regain regular school attendance, develop social and emotional skills, and address the underlying issues affecting their learning. They offer tailored programs, often with smaller class sizes and additional pastoral care, to support students in making positive progress and moving back into mainstream education when appropriate.
