Theories of vision
Theories of vision explore how we perceive the world through sight. Two primary theories are the **trichromatic theory**, which suggests we see colors based on three types of color receptors in our eyes (red, green, blue), and the **opponent-process theory**, which proposes that we perceive colors in opposing pairs (like blue/yellow and red/green), influencing how we see and interpret colors. Together, these theories explain how our eyes and brain work in harmony to create the rich visual experience we have, allowing us to recognize shapes, colors, and movements in our environment.
