Hindavi Swaraj

Hindavi Swaraj, meaning "self-rule for Hindus," was a concept popularized by the 17th-century Indian warrior king Shivaji Maharaj. It aimed at establishing an independent and just governance that empowered local communities, particularly in the context of resistance against Mughal rule. Shivaji envisioned a sovereign state where the rights and welfare of the people, particularly Hindus, were prioritized.
