Gestalt Principles

Gestalt Principles are guidelines that explain how we perceive and organize visual elements into groups or unified wholes. These principles include concepts like proximity (where objects close together are seen as a group), similarity (where similar items are perceived as belonging together), continuity (where we prefer smooth, continuous patterns), and closure (where we perceive incomplete shapes as complete). Essentially, Gestalt Principles show how our brains instinctively organize visual information, helping us make sense of complex images and patterns in our everyday environment.
