Geographic coordinates

Geographic coordinates are a system used to pinpoint locations on Earth using two main values: latitude and longitude. Latitude measures how far a place is from the equator, ranging from 0° at the equator to 90° at the poles. Longitude measures how far a place is from the Prime Meridian, which runs from the North to the South Pole, ranging from 0° to 180°. Together, these coordinates provide a precise address for any spot on the globe, allowing us to navigate and map our world effectively.
