Free Will and Determinism

Free will indicates the ability to make choices without constraints, suggesting that we control our own lives. Determinism, however, proposes that all events, including our actions, are dictated by previously existing causes or divine will. In simple terms, free will means you're the author of your life, whereas determinism suggests your life is a book already written.
