Enheduanna

Enheduanna was an ancient Sumerian high priestess and poet, living around 2285-2250 BCE in Mesopotamia, specifically in the city of Ur. She is often regarded as one of the world's first known authors, as her writings, which include hymns and religious texts, demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of spirituality and human emotion. Enheduanna was the daughter of King Sargon of Akkad and played a crucial role in uniting the Akkadian and Sumerian cultures through her religious leadership. Her work not only contributed to literature but also shaped the development of temple worship in ancient Mesopotamia.
