Diadochi

The Diadochi refers to the series of conflicts and power struggles among the successors of Alexander the Great after his death in 323 BC. Unable to unify the vast empire he had built, these generals and leaders, known as the Diadochi, fought for control over different regions, leading to the fragmentation of Alexander's empire. This period saw battles, alliances, and the establishment of new kingdoms, ultimately shaping the political landscape of the ancient world and paving the way for future empires, such as the Hellenistic kingdoms that emerged from the chaos.
