Context Switching

Context switching refers to the process of changing from one task or activity to another. This occurs in various scenarios, like when a computer switches between running multiple programs or when a person shifts their focus from one project to another. In computing, it involves saving the state of a current task so that the system can return to it later. Similarly, for individuals, constantly switching tasks can lead to reduced efficiency and increased mental fatigue, as each transition requires time and mental resources to refocus and reorient.
