Belief and Truth
In the study of knowledge (epistemology), belief is an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially without proof. Truth, on the other hand, is a concept that deals with the actuality or reality of situations or facts. The relationship between belief and truth is complex: not all beliefs are truths, and not all truths are believed. The quest in epistemology is often to establish beliefs that reflect truth to increase our understanding of the world.
