Behavior Change Wheel
The Behavior Change Wheel is a framework designed to help understand and influence human behavior. It identifies three core components: capability (how able a person is), motivation (the desire to change), and opportunity (external factors that enable change). At the center is the need for behavior change, surrounded by different strategies and interventions that can be employed to facilitate that change. By understanding these elements, individuals and organizations can develop effective programs or policies to encourage positive behaviors, such as healthier living or better environmental practices.
