Assembly of the League of Nations
The Assembly of the League of Nations was the main deliberative body of the League, established after World War I to promote peace and cooperation between countries. It met annually and included representatives from all member nations. The Assembly's role was to discuss global issues, recommend solutions, and promote disarmament, but it lacked enforcement power. Members could vote on resolutions, and it aimed to prevent conflicts through dialogue. Although it faced challenges and was ultimately replaced by the United Nations after World War II, it set important precedents for international cooperation and diplomacy.
