League Covenant

The League Covenant refers to the foundational agreement that established the League of Nations after World War I. It aimed to promote international cooperation and prevent future conflicts by encouraging dialogue, collective security, and disarmament among member countries. The Covenant outlined the League's structure, including the Assembly and the Council, and set rules for resolving disputes peacefully. Although it ultimately failed to prevent World War II, the League laid the groundwork for future international organizations, including the United Nations, emphasizing the importance of diplomacy and collaboration in global affairs.
