US Military

The U.S. military is the armed forces of the United States, composed of five main branches: the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Its primary mission is to defend the country and its interests, conduct operations abroad, and provide humanitarian assistance. The military operates under the Department of Defense, led by the Secretary of Defense and ultimately the President as Commander-in-Chief. It is well-equipped and trained to handle a variety of missions, including combat, peacekeeping, and disaster relief, and plays a key role in international security and diplomacy.
