Ugaritic Texts

Ugaritic texts are ancient writings discovered in the city of Ugarit, located in modern-day Syria. Dating back to around 1400-1200 BCE, these texts were written in Ugaritic, a cuneiform script that represents one of the earliest known alphabets.
