Canaan (the biblical concept)

Canaan is a biblical region mentioned in the Old Testament, located in the area that includes modern-day Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and parts of Syria and Jordan. It is often described as the Promised Land, which God promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
