Third Order of St. Dominic

The Third Order of St. Dominic, also known as the Dominican Laity, is a group of laypeople who follow the spiritual and apostolic example of St. Dominic, the founder of the Dominican Order. Established in the 13th century, it allows non-clerics to live out Dominican values such as prayer, study, community service, and preaching the Gospel in their everyday lives. Members commit to a Rule of Life that emphasizes spiritual growth and service, integrating their faith into their professions and personal lives while fostering unity with the broader Dominican family.
