Liturgy of the Hours

The Liturgy of the Hours, also called Divine Office, is the daily set of prayers and psalms that clergy, religious, and many laypeople regularly pray to sanctify the day. Rooted in Scripture and tradition, it divides the day into specific prayer times—such as morning, midday, evening, and night—fostering continuous prayer and reflection.
