
Blessed Margaret of Castello
Blessed Margaret of Castello (1287–1320) was an Italian Catholic nun born with disabilities, including blindness and being physically deformed. Despite her challenges, she devoted her life to prayer, humility, and helping others, particularly the poor and sick. She lived a humble, prayerful life in a monastery, inspiring many through her steadfast faith and compassion. Recognized for her holiness, she was beatified in 1826, and her life exemplifies resilience, humility, and unwavering devotion to God despite adversity.
