Southern Hemisphere
The Southern Hemisphere is the half of the Earth located below the equator. It includes parts of Africa, Australia, South America, and Antarctica, along with surrounding oceans. In this region, seasons are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere; for example, when it's summer in the north, it's winter in the south. The Southern Hemisphere features unique wildlife and ecosystems, such as kangaroos and rainforests. Notably, the Southern Hemisphere also contains the South Pole and the majority of the world's oceans, playing a vital role in Earth's climate and biodiversity.
