Moonwalks

Moonwalks refer to a phenomenon in space exploration and astronomy where the trajectory of a spacecraft allows it to travel backwards relative to its previous position. This concept is often associated with the delicate maneuvering required to enter or exit orbits, particularly around celestial bodies like the Moon. Additionally, “moonwalk” can also refer to the iconic dance move popularized by Michael Jackson, where one appears to glide backwards while walking forward. In both cases, the term evokes a sense of graceful reverse movement, either in the dance floor or through the cosmos.
