Mayan calendar

The Mayan Calendar is an ancient system used by the Maya civilization to track time. It consists of various cycles, the two most notable being the Tzolk'in (a 260-day ceremonial calendar) and the Haab' (a 365-day solar calendar). These calendars interlock to create a longer cycle called the Calendar Round, lasting about 52 years. The Mayans also developed a Long Count calendar to record historical dates over thousands of years. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Mayan Calendar reflects their cosmology and agricultural cycles, emphasizing their connection to nature and the universe.
