Calendar system

A calendar system is a method for organizing time into days, weeks, months, and years. It helps us track and plan events, celebrate holidays, and manage schedules. The most commonly used system today is the Gregorian calendar, which has 12 months and totals 365 days in a year, with an extra day every four years (a leap year) to account for the Earth's orbit around the Sun. Different cultures have their own calendars, which may vary in structure and significance, reflecting unique historical and astronomical factors.
