Kassite Dynasty
The Kassite Dynasty ruled Babylon in ancient Mesopotamia from around 1595 to 1155 BCE, following the fall of the Old Babylonian Empire. The Kassites, originally from the Zagros Mountains, established a stable and prosperous era characterized by cultural exchange and the preservation of Babylonian traditions. They introduced advancements in administration, trade, and agriculture, and their reign saw the construction of temples and cities. The dynasty eventually faded due to internal strife and external pressures, but its influence lingered, contributing to the cultural legacy of Mesopotamia.
