Ironman

Ironman refers to a series of long-distance triathlon races organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC). Each Ironman event consists of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bike ride, and a 26.2-mile (42.20 km) marathon run, completed in that order. Athletes must finish within a set time, typically 17 hours. Ironman races are renowned for their challenging nature, attracting participants from around the world who train extensively for months to achieve this impressive athletic feat. The franchise also includes Ironman 70.3, which features shorter distances in each segment.
