Information Processing

Information processing refers to the manipulation and management of data by a system, such as a computer. In the context of computability theory, it examines what problems can be solved using algorithms—step-by-step instructions. It explores the limits of computation: some problems can be solved efficiently, while others cannot be solved at all or would take impractically long. Essentially, information processing is about how we can transform, store, and analyze data to produce meaningful results and understand the capabilities and constraints of computational systems.
